MTZ Academy Bible Institute Week 6: The Power of the Tongue & Speaking Faith

WEEK 6: This week, we focused on speaking faith. Our words reveal what’s in our hearts, and James 3:1-12 warns us about their power.

Key Scriptures:

-Proverbs 18:21 – Life and death are in the power of the tongue.

-Mark 11:23 – If you speak to the mountain… it will move.

-Romans 10:9 – Confessing with our mouth is part of salvation.

Closing Prayer:

Father, we thank You for the gift of speech and the power You’ve given us to shape our world with words. Help us to tame our tongues, to speak life and not death, to encourage and not tear down. Let our church be a place where words bring healing, restoration, and faith. This week, teach us to speak faith over every situation and let our words align with Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
